• What is Digital Organizing?

AN INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP FOR INLAND EMPIRE PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS

    Thursday, July 15 | 11:00 am-12:30 pm PT

    What you’ll learn

How do you build and mobilize your base with digital organizing? The pandemic has taught us that reaching people where they spend their time - through social media, on their phones and devices - has become crucial. Learn how digital organizing works and is becoming integral to today’s campaigns, and should be a key component of organizational growth and power building. Workers Center for Racial Justice organizers will inspire us with their story of how they creatively shifted during the last year, finding new ways to engage their base and expand their programs. Learn about effective tools, online strategies, and successful staffing structures weaving narrative and field efforts. Hear from WCRJ’s about their challenges and wins in integrating digital and traditional organizing while ramping up skills, staff, tools, and platforms.

Facilitators: Louisa Manske, Antonio Lightfoot, Will Taplin, Workers Center for Racial Justice
